disabling weapons

I was wondering if we could disable some weapons such as the nail gun, prox launcher, chaingun, and bfg. Maybe get rid of the invisibility powerup too.
I am not sure how many maps have any of those weapons, but it's just a thought.

I thinkwe shouldn't modify this to keep maps as originals... Other opinions ?

maybe some demo matches to see how these powerups and weapons effect gameplay??

otherwise, i think we should keep them as they were made

The TA weapons are not compatible with CPMA. (if i well remember, MIOW told me in some topic)

There's no chaingun, mines, etc. in cpma, right.
And it isn't maps original weapons. It's oa's fault with adding TA weapons on q3w maps.

Indeed, no such weapons in CPMA, and anyway in Elimination these weapons are ruled out, even in OA vanilla. But in CTF indeed, they will be missed on some maps, except if you use OA vanilla (will work almost the same as CPMA but you loose some core features like the enhanced netcode...).

We can see depending on players' choices : if they prefer to give up the advantages of CPMA to get the TA weapons, as they want, but they can't cry about the ping afterwards...
